It was during a time of enormous sadness and helplessness. Creating music was my only escape and way to express my feelings each day. Many of my pieces during that year I posted without taking the time to edit properly. I just wanted to keep going. When I hear these works, it brings back sadness but also joy. It was my life-line and now a musical diary of sorts. I am now in the process of revisiting these pieces. They are not perfect... but working on them again, is a labor of love!
